ABOUT RAMEKING®

History of Rameking®

The idea for the Rameking® grew out of the need to solve a problem in a commercial kitchen … I need more space for my desserts! The lack of shelf space in the line coolers was the problem. There was a need for a new system for handling the ramekins that hold sauces and/or condiments. The old way of handling these ramekins (putting them on a tray) took up valuable shelf space in the commercial kitchen refrigerator.

The Rameking® solves the problem by using space that is inside EVERY commercial kitchen refrigerator – the space between the inside door of the refrigerator and the shelving. Many shapes were tested, but our cylindrical design worked best. We applied for and were granted a patent, US Patent #9,907,437. And, the Rameking® was found to solve another problem! With the Rameking®, there was now a way to implement a desirable first-in-first-out (FIFO) handling system. No more old sauces in the back of the tray still in inventory!

Through our self-funded progress, over 2 decades, we can proudly say there is still nothing like it on the market!
